Thanks for visiting today. If you are visiting then you likely planning your wedding or know someone who is. Well, hopefully you will gain some helpful wedding tips and ideas and be sure to treat yourself to today's "honeymoon specials" which are sure to be great gifts to take with you on your honeymoon.
I attended a friend's wedding about 2 years ago. It was a very simple wedding ceremony and a simple wedding reception but the ideas were rather creative.
Instead of the bridesmaids walking down the aisle with floral bouquets they carried small glass bowls that were filled with water and contained a floating candle. The lights in the church were turned off but there was enough sunshine pouring through the church windows that it provided a warming glow throughout the sanctuary. Plus with the lit floating candles it added to the elegance.
Also, the bridesmaids were barefoot! Hey, it saved them from having to spend money on shoes they may never wear again! But surprisingly it looked very nice.
Then, at the wedding reception, on the tables she had goldfish bowls with various fish in them. Then after the reception guests were able to take the fish home!
